In episode one, while on a date with the most popular guy in school, Ichigo Momomiya is hit with a beam of light that gives her the power of an endangered feline species, turning her into Ichigo Mew - a superhero! In episode two, a green-haired girl named Lettuce struggles to fit in with her "friends". Pent up emotions cause the powers she recently gained to spiral out of control, and Ichigo and Mint come to her aid.
